Description: Neoprene knee brace with two distal and proximal front Velcro straps and one central rear Velcro strap attached to the medial/lateral side hinges. The hinges can be removed and shaped with bending irons for proper patient fit. This support also includes Velcro/elastic straps, patellar hole and a patellar tracking system. Available in 1/8" or 1/4" thickness. Function: Neoprene sleeve will provide warmth and compression to the knee joint and surrounding musculature. Relief at the patella will permit bending of the knee without significant increase in pressure on the patella. Patellar tracking system may relieve pain and enhance ability to achieve quadriceps muscle control. Bi-articular joints provide limited medial/lateral knee joint stability. 3-point strap design provides effective hyperextension control.
